Hazy home-fi recordings of a meandering detour through grey-day forest romps matches nicely with their laid back take on groovy backwoods pop. An earnest, bubblegum synth rhythm bounces around whiffs of strewned out surf riffs, with mumbly speak-sung vocals emphasizing an carefree, slightly stoned attitude. Throw in some nice shots of dogs playing and plenty of (unironic) comic sans, and you got yourself a perfect picture of how New England gets quirky.
